Summer
Summer is starting to approach. My favorite time of the year. Its so bright and sunny, so many things to do outside. Shorts and tshirts, swim suits and beach towels. four wheelers, swimming pools, baseball games, corn hole games, cook outs, you name it I do it. And finally softball season. Seven years already, come and gone so fast, on for the eighth straight year with bats, balls, gloves and dirt. Can't forget about the boyfriend returning home again. More time together, drive inn, family get togethers, sporting events. Nothing gets better than summtertime!
Red hot coils
A hoit stove it always going to burn you if you touch and test it. We feel the heat and we know the pain, but sometimes it is so tempting. The fire is mesmorizing, you cant look awayand sometimes it is dificult to turn away. But you must look out for yourself. Take care of yourself, stand up for yourself, dont allow yourself to touch that red hot coil, not again.
Dreams vs. goals
Dreams and goals. very different yet at the same time similar. Dreams can sometimes be out of reach, dreams are some what a fantasy but if you turn that dream into a goal it becomes more real and more achieavable. dreams are just thoughts and wants, goals require action and determination. Dreams aren't so far away if you turn them into goals.

Running, why would anyone want to run? I hate it. All it is is pain. Loss of breath, blisters, hot, side stitches and shin splints. Wahoo, loads of fun. So why do I run? Its my time, my energy and my pain. I know its not for my weight, I wouldnt eat the junk I do if I cared that much. I guess its what lies underneath all of that. The freedom, the relaxation of it all. When you run you think about that road and your feet moving. Everything you want to forget about never existed and everything you hoped for is what your chasing after. You decide how far you run, how fast you run, and when the pain is unbearable. Running is the only thing you can do that lets you choose what you think and how you feel. You can run as far away from or as close to whatever you want just by stepping out your front door with tennis shoes and shorts.

its moments like these that I love my life. I love the stink smell of the outdoors, I love the blinding glare of the setting sun, I love the annoying sound of turkey calls, and the loud roar of a four wheeler. I love looking out on the almost flat land and seeing beauty for miles. I love the colors of the sunset and surroundings off the lake. Most would see an ugly half torn barn but I see hard work and simple beauty. Front porches, ive cold sweet tea and a nice rocking chair with a radio in the background is what I call relaxation. Enjoy the simple life.
